Arya News Agency - The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
has refuted reports regarding the evacuation of the Iranian embassy in
Damascus, stating that the embassy remains open and its staff continue
to work.
Ismail Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
stated today that the news concerning the evacuation of the Islamic
Republic of Iran's embassy in Damascus is not true, and the embassy
continues its activities.
Previously, some media outlets reported on the evacuation of the Iranian
embassy in Damascus due to the current situation in Syria and the
movements of terrorists in the country. Recently, following attacks by
terrorist groups on the Iranian consulate in Aleppo, the staff from that
consulate were relocated to Damascus.
