Arya News Agency -During a meeting with the Sudanese ambassador in Tehran,
the Vice President and member of the National Security Commission
underscored the importance of staying alert to the threats posed by the
Zionist regime in the Islamic world.
Abdulaziz Hassan Saleh, the Sudanese ambassador in Tehran, met with
Abbas Moqtadaei, Vice President of the National Security and Foreign
Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, according to
Arya News Agency.
Moqtadaei welcomed the resumption of relations between Iran and Sudan
and the reopening of embassies in both nations as a positive step. He
remarked, "The African continent and Sudan are particularly important to
Iran, and we hope to see an increase in friendly cooperation soon. The
Islamic Consultative Assembly and the National Security and Foreign
Policy Commission will support efforts to strengthen ties between our
countries."
He also emphasized the need to quickly restore relations to their
previous level, stating, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is dedicated to
enhancing cooperation and sharing experiences with Sudan as an Islamic
nation."
